Google Voice is a cloud-based voice service that allows users to do calls, send text messages and make payments through their computers or smartphones. It is available through Google Chrome, Android, Apple iOS, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry.

Google offers two types of voice services: Google Talk and Hangouts. both of which are free to use. Google Voice was founded in October of 2008 and it has since been released in over 100 countries.

It was first introduced in and has since expanded to over 2 million users. It offers a range of features such as calling from within a web browser, calling from satellite providers, making calls on the go, and much more.
